With so many “make money online” programs popping up, it’s easy to feel skeptical. One name that’s been making the rounds lately is Digital Wealth Academy (DWA)—but is it the real deal, or just another overhyped course?
As someone who has explored different online business models, I wanted to take a closer look at what DWA offers, how it works, and how it compares to other sustainable ways to build an income online.
What is Digital Wealth Academy (DWA)?
DWA is a digital marketing course that teaches strategies for making money online. One of its biggest selling points is that it comes with Master Resell Rights (MRR)—meaning once you buy it, you can resell the course and keep 100% of the profits.
At first glance, that might sound like a great deal. Instead of promoting other people’s products for a commission (like affiliate marketing), you get to sell the course itself and earn full profit.
But here’s the issue…
Concerns About DWA: Is It Too Good to Be True?
A quick search on Reddit and other forums reveals that many people are questioning whether DWA is a scam. While it’s not an outright pyramid scheme (since there is a product being sold), it gives off strong MLM vibes because the main way people make money is by selling the course to others—who then sell it to others—creating a cycle that depends on constant recruitment.
🚩 Only a Fraction of People Are Making Money – As with most programs like this, the top earners are the ones who got in early and have a strong social media following. Most people struggle to make sales, especially once the market becomes oversaturated.
🚩 Saturation is a Big Issue – Right now, people are flooding social media with promotions for DWA, but as more and more people jump in, the pool of potential buyers shrinks. If the only way to make money is to sell the course, what happens when new buyers stop joining?
🚩 Would Anyone Buy This Course Without the Resell Rights? – This is the biggest red flag. If DWA didn’t offer the ability to resell it for 100% profit, would people still buy it for its actual training? If the answer is no, then the value is questionable. I do believe that the answer is NOT ‘No’ (there are modules on other ways to make money online, including Affiliate Marketing, but unfortunately, the bad perception is out there). I do not doubt that the training is great, but the price tag is high too.
🚩 The price tag is high at $497
How Does DWA Compare to Affiliate Marketing?
I’ve personally seen how affiliate marketing can be a more stable, long-term way to build an income online. Here’s how it compares to DWA:
Feature | Digital Wealth Academy (DWA) | Affiliate Marketing |
---|---|---|
Earning Model | Sell the DWA course & keep 100% profit | Promote other people’s products & earn commissions |
Sustainability | Relies on continuously recruiting new buyers | Works across multiple industries & niches |
Scalability | Limited to selling one course | Can promote various products from different brands |
Risk Level | High – Market saturation will make it harder to sell | Lower – You’re not tied to one product |
Affiliate marketing allows you to diversify your income, promote products in different niches (fitness, tech, finance, etc.), and build a brand that isn’t tied to just one course. It’s a proven, sustainable business model that doesn’t rely on constant recruitment.
Final Thoughts: Should You Join DWA?
DWA does offer training on digital marketing, but its main selling point—reselling the course itself—raises concerns about sustainability. If you’re looking for a quick way to make money, it might work for a while, but if demand slows down, so will your income.
Many people online already feel that DWA is a borderline scam, and as more people jump in, it will likely become harder and harder to sell. The real question is: Do you want to build a business that lasts, or one that depends on hype?
If you’re serious about creating a real, long-term online business, I’d recommend exploring affiliate marketing, content creation, and digital business models that don’t rely on recruiting new buyers to stay afloat.
